AsianBabeCams.com and Chathostess.com

On October 1st at 9am PST we will be switching AsianBabeCams.com and Chahostess.com over to our brand new flash system. This system is a completely different system then the one that is currently in operation on Asians247.com, Cams247.com and the white label sites.

All tools for the current java system will still work just fine when we make the switch. Over the next couple of weeks we will be making changes to camdough. We will be reorganizing the way the tools and the sites are listed. Also the reporting will be changing to accommodate the changes being made to AsianBabeCams.com and Chathostess.com.

If you have any questions leave them here and I will answer them.

I can name a couple webmaster advantages right off the top of my head... LOSING the outdated firecracker java based interface! The sound server NEVER worked and since the new flash based interface is written in-house rather than off the shelf, camdough can incorporate improvements/suggestions we give them! Another is we can get sales stats for the former "java" sites in reports similar to the current 247 type.

For models, they can see the guests IP without clicking whois, and they can switch the display to County by clicking a button. Also, there is a browser based version as well as an installable version if they don't want to keep software on their workstation. I will miss being able to send them smilies like ~hump or ~booty though. As for camdough, well being able to make improvements is primary. I would guess fraud detection ranks up there also. I kinda got the idea the Firecracker version left some holes in that area. I'm just guessing but it looks like there is compression involved because I saw a claim of better quality in cases of limited bandwidth.

I am sure this just skimmed the surface.

First, and most importantly, the changes being implemented with the new software for Asianbabecams and Chathostess are designed to benefit not only models/studios and webmasters, but for the customers benefit as well. Let's face it...the old school Firecracker software was extremely outdated....no sound, slow frame rates, and was not even being updated anymore. The new software was written in-house rather than using an existing off the shelf solution. The reasons are many, but the main one is it allows us to update it in response to viewers, models and customers concerns/suggestions. Some of the benefits you can expect to see....

For Webmasters:
- Improved stats tracking inside of your CamDough webmaster account. There will no longer be a separate section for Java sales and Flash sales. Tracking of hits/sales/rebills will be shown in the same manner as the rest of your stats for our other flash-based sites. The same goes for the Transaction history reports so you can see an individual customers spending patterns.
- Webmasters will also find the tools section easier to use as the categories of tools available will no longer be listed according to platform (Flash vs. Java), but instead will be listed according to site name. The amount and variety of tools for ABC will also be increased now that it is a flash based website.
- Probably the most important "benefit" you as a webmaster should be concerned with however, is that the new software gives the customers a better overall experience - which should translate into more sales/rebills for you and more cash in your bank account!

For Models/Studios:
- The new software allows models to take advantage of using their audio capability during chats. It allows for a more intimate experience bewtween the models and viewers.
- Models who seem to always have connection/bandwidth problems will find that the new software adjusts automatically (via frame rate and video quality) as they login. They don't need to mess around with the settings.
- Viewers IP address and Country will be available to performers who wish to view such info.
- The software can also be run on computers of lower quality as the system requirements are minimal.
- Most importantly the models/studios no longer have to download and install anything to login to ABC or Chathostess if they do not want to. They can now choose a web-based login as well as the new performer interface. It is really quite simple and is designed to get them online and chatting with minimal effort.

Over the next few weeks we will also be introducing some new features which will further enhance the new software for ABC/Chathostess.

I prefer promoting asians247 because I like its layout. Should I now be promoting the other sites instead?

My advice would be to promote BOTH of the sites. Asianbabecams has the advantage of being a well known brand name as it was one of the first Asian chat sites on the web and has many loyal followers. More models also work on Asianbabecams giving the customers a greater variety to choose from.

We will be updating the tools section in CamDough in the next few weeks to compliment the new software change to flash on Asianbabecams.

Both asianbabecams and chathostess seemto be unchanged:
Both sites still use firecracker and java. And the video is still very slow.

Btw, what's the purpose of having two different sites when their formats are virtually identical?

I far prefer asians247.com (and promote it exclusively), as I feel the profile pages allow the Surfer to get a sense of the performer as a person (however brief it is). Also, the pictures and reviews are major advantages to the Surfer.

Since asians247 already has images on the performer profile pages, adding the "image flipping" function, as is done on neoncams.com, would be a great help.

It was up for a couple hours for those of you who didn't stay up all night. Obviously it didn't "fly" first time out... Among other things I noticed the database merge didn't go as planned. No joy. On a positive note, The look is EXACTLY the same as the java version except for the copyright date and the video UN-DOCKING button. I for one am still looking forward to seeing this up and running.

@sabaidii2, Asianbabecams has had profile pages and pictures all along. And there are more Asians247 sites than two! Look at honeydolls, cams247, and like half a dozen more. Why ask about abc and chathostess having two sites when Asians247 has 4 times that many? And why mention profile pictures in Asians247 and the others when ABC had them from the beginning? I don't see a point there, really and no disrespect intended.

I mentioned abc and chathostess because CamdoughCat suggested I promote those sites. To me, they are the same.

asians247 = honeydolls = cams247
These sites are virtually identical. They differ only by using different color schemes. I repeat: What is the point for providing multiple sites that are virtually identical?

As for the profile pictures on ABC... I found them (at last!) You can find them by:
Onnow page ==> Chat page => Profile Page ==> Photo Archive Page

That's too many pages for the Surfer to clck through. IMO, this is very poor design.

On asians247, the navigation is:
Onnow page ==> Profile Page (which contains photos *and* reviews)
This is a far superior design.
